Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature and size of my business, ALL RETURNS ARE IN THE FORM OF STORE CREDIT. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR DETAILS.
An item is ONLY eligible for return within 14 calendar days of delivery. No exceptions!
Please open and check your package upon receipt.
Items must not be worn, used or tampered with and must be placed into their original packing.
If items are returned in less than perfect condition the items will not be refunded.
Please include a copy of the invoice/packing slip sent to you at the time of delivery along with a note as to why the merchandise is being returned.
Clearance items are not eligible for return unless damaged, which must be reported within 5 days of delivery.
Holiday items are non returnable and non refundable unless damaged, which must be reported within 5 days.
Damaged items MUST be reported within 2 days of receiving the goods.
Customized apparel is nonreturnable.
Original shipping is not refundable.
Refunds are issued back with an in store credit.
We do NOT issue cash returns.
All Returns are in the form of Store Credit.
Returns are processed within 10-15 business days of receiving your return.
I will send you an email confirmation when your return has been received and the Store Credit has been issued.
You may then use your store credit at your convenience. It will not expire and can ONLY be used once.
Due to the constant change in inventory, we do not do exchanges, so if you’d like to order a different size, color or product, please return for a store credit and then place a new order online.

Lost, Stolen, and Damaged Items:

Kathleen's Alterations & Designs and all its advocates are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items when you return them and recommend you send it back using an insured courier. We highly recommend you make sure you are provided with a tracking number or delivery confirmation and keep this for your records and for our reference.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages:

Refused or undeliverable packages are subject to return shipping costs that vary by shipping method used in the original order. If you choose not to have your order re-delivered, we can issue Store Credit for the cost of the items, but the original shipping cost and the undeliverable charge from the courier will be deducted from the refund, as well as a 20% restocking fee.

Risk of Loss

All products purchased from this site are transported and delivered to you by an independent carrier NOT affiliated with, or controlled by, Kathleen's Alterations & Designs. Title to products purchased on the site, as well as the risk of loss for such products, pass to you, the buyer, when I deliver these items to the carrier.
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, is marked "unclaimed" or "return to sender," or has been deemed undeliverable for any reason by the carrier, we will notify you by email.
The original shipping cost will not be refunded on return to sender packages.
The customer is responsible for any return to sender fees that are incurred if the address is provided incorrectly.
Once we receive the package back from the carrier, our option is to either reship the package or credit the subtotal of your order minus the return to sender fee. I will email you for confirmation on moving forward.
If you choose to have the package reshipped you will need to pay the return to sender fee and the shipping fee and provide the correct address before it is shipped out again.
If you choose to have the order credited, you will not be issued a credit until the parcel has arrived back in our facility.
I am not responsible if your order gets delivered to the wrong address or is sent back for an insufficient address. Please ensure you provide the correct address at checkout.
