A well fitted garment can leave the perfect impression. Whether it's simply taking up a hem or customizing a piece to your size; it's important for the garment to be flattering. I offer an array of alteration services that will help you to achieve this goal. These are a few of the options I offer but others can be discussed in person. Included in those services are bridal and formal wear, jeans and trouser alterations, shirt alterations, men's and women's suits, basic alterations, and customizations.
When being fitted for Formal or Bridal wear, it is best to wear all undergarments that you plan to wear with your dress. This includes: specific style of bra, spanks, or other fitted items. It is often helpful to bring your shoes as well.
Beading, sequins, lace, or other fine details may increase the price of other services listed due to the complexity of working around these decorations.
Shorten hem on a basic A-line skirt or dress. Additional layers will be an additional charge.
Prom/Homecoming/Bridesmaid: $30+ Basic Chiffon, Satin, Polyester, etc. style dresses. Additional layers and trains will be an additional charge.
Wedding Gowns w/train: $50+ per main layers. Price can be estimated at fitting. Horse Hair braid is an additional charge. Long trains may cost extra
Tulle: $10+ The cost for cutting tulle layers will depend on location and train length.
Why hand sewn? This is a cleaner, high-end, tailored look that does not show a "hard" stitch line. This is often used on dresses with heavy beading/sequins.

It is best to find a jacket that fits well in the shoulders. Lining up the seam with your shoulder joint. Jackets with functioning sleeve buttons are more costly to alter than non functioning buttons. The sleeve of your jacket should come up to show 1/4"-1/2" of your dress shirt sleeve. When being fitted, please bring your dress shirt.
Sleeves with functioning buttons may need to be adjusted from the shoulder seam. Typically only 1/4"-1/2" can be brought up before going to the shoulder seam
Sleeves should be shortened to show 1/4"-1/2" of dress shirt cuff. It is best to keep the shortening to less than 3/4".
For a better fit through the torso, a jacket can be taken in at the side seams.
If the back is too bulky through the center, the jacket and lining can be taken in for a better fit.
If a jacket just needs to be brought in slightly, this can be done by moving the buttons over.
